[ . . . or . . . why we will be closing for the last half of December]

I first began posting these intermittent Ashwins in 2001, by which time Cathryn and I had already been working together for over ten years as herbalists and over six years as online merchants of herbal products. (Our work together even preceeded our marriage). Our research into medicinal herbs eventually took us into the study of entheogens, many of which hold extremely important spiritual significance in the cultures of the indigenous peoples who use them. Of these herbal combinations, the most important in our part of South America is "ayahuasca."
In practical terms, I first began my exploration of ayahuasca in August, 2006 at a forest retreat on the Pacific Coast of Ecuador. From my very first visions, I was able to see why ayahuasca was held so sacred to the native peoples here. It was as if I had spent my life wearing green glasses, wherein the entire world appeared green. Now I could see so much more.
Last November (2011) I received the first in a series of visions concerning an extraordinary event that would occur at the end of 2012. I needn't go into detail here, since these "visions quests" have resulted in an online book, which -- like Meditopia® -- is a free-read online. (1)
The title of the book (and its corresponding website) is The Gospel of 2012 According to Ayahuasca. Friends of mine who are aware of the "2012 phenomenon" and have read the book tell me that it is the most coherent, detailed book on the spiritual implications of 2012 that they have ever read.
The purpose of this Ashwin is not to proselytize. Frankly, I am not a dogmatic person, and I will be the first to admit -- as I make clear in the book's introduction -- that I am an imperfect and highly flawed medium for such information. Do I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the events I have described -- that the things that ANYONE who has done this kind of work has described -- will actually happen? No. I do not. And yet what has been shown to me is a vision of such immense clarity, goodness, hope, and sublime transformation, that there is no way I could have resisted the call to share it.

Friday, December 14, 2012, will be our "last day." (Note: In our original announcement, we gave the date as December 8th, but this was changed to accommodate requests from some of our distributors.). . . Alpha Omega Labs will be closing down for the rest of December so that Cathryn and I can attend our own personal, spiritual retreat. Our "scheduled" re-open date is Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.
In a universe of all possibilities, I really don't know with exact certainty what will happen after the fabled winter solstice of 2012 (2). I don't believe that anyone does. The argument can made that it will amount to nothing . . . that this is the latest in a string of "Y2K-like" non-events that will be seen, in retrospect, to have been the product of overactive minds who are using their disgust with an unspeakably corrupt world as a collective call to create something better. Hopefully, something much better.
Nonetheless, there are an astonishing number of "nexus points" or inexplicable coincidences that would suggest that something extraordinary -- what in the book I call "the ultimate black swan event" -- may well cross humanity's path. I cover that in some detail in the book.

Will we be reopening after the first of the year?
If the things I have foreseen turn out to be metaphorical and not literal, I'm sure we will. On the other hand, there is the distinct possibility that we will not. Not knowing exactly how things will unfold is, perhaps, a part of the adventure . . . a gift from the Divine that will remain unopened until Christmas time.
It is the quest itself that beckons us to turn within and explore our immense spiritual potential.
